Balaton Golf Club

The Balaton Golf Club (1,45 hours form Budapest city center) welcomes its visitors in a pictorial environment.

The first 18-hole golf course of the Lake Balaton lies in a unique natural environment next to Tihany, between Balatonudvari and Örvényes, offering splendid panorama of the Lake Balaton.

The course has  views of Lake Balaton which is known as the ‘Hungarian Sea’ due to its Caribbean clear waters and is the biggest inland lake in Europe.

The course is adjacent to the Balaton Uplands National Park and includes a stone quarry, which is a Natural Reserve challenging all the golfers as they play around it.

Four fairways are surrounded by forests, and deer and fox inhabit the area. Reeds line the lakes, which are strategically located throughout the course. 

Balaton Golf was the venue for the European Young Masters for 2010, 2011 and 2012.
